Tbh, it’s funny to see how all console players are getting regarding PC players invading what they think is “their” place. They are so good that even Kunos Simulazioni bought many of them and to add them as game content (Mazda 787B and Shelby Cobra come to my mind). Even Rockstar may issue a ban if they somehow know that you have installed a mod (For example a real world car), because you are messing with their copyrighted material.Īlso, I think there won’t be much “new” content for it because most of the mods you see for Assetto Corsa or GTA are ripped from Forza… Of course there are VERY talented people that can make some really outstanding mods from the ground up. If the game is as closed as Forza is, then of course it’s okay to ban this people, even though if you are not getting a real advantage, if the EULA says that any modification to the game implies a ban, then it’s okay. Modding a game implies adding content, add visual enhancements, get new cameras (Like a “free roam” camera, for example) and such things… Is that altering the core game? Yes. Mods = Cheating… While yes, there are many people that actually mod the game to take some advantage, it’s not what you usually would call “modding”.
